LRC Training Celebrates their 200th Apprentice with Royal Mail

Delivering career progression opportunities

LRC Training has been providing Apprenticeships for the Royal Mail since 2012.

In collaboration with the Communication Workers Union, 200 candidates have taken up the opportunity to enhance their career prospects.

The majority of these candidates have undertaken the Foundation Apprenticeship in Driving Goods Vehicles and gained funding to upskill to an LGV license.

Our 200th Apprentice at the Royal Mail - Ian Jones

Based at Carmarthen delivery office, Ian approached his Union Representative enquiring about funding for LGV licensing and was informed of the Apprenticeship opportunity with LRC Training.

Ian already holds C1 license but wants to upskill to a Class 1 license to improve his chances of obtaining a longer and more rewarding career in the future. Ian sees the Apprenticeship as a good opportunity to gain recognised qualifications for his industry skills and knowledge whilst receiving valuable support to obtain his LGV license.
